We had layoffs at work. Two of my biggest Fright Night contributors were canned, so I don't know what's going to happen to the cake walk and I'm sure Wheel & Brake won't do it either.

Today we got an email to not use the laser printer when we have prints more than two pages. We were reminded to make sure we needed the print. I have over 50 books worth of paper for three years of inventory because they won't get me Acrobat and an external HD. Now I have to walk all the way across the room to get my prints. I can, on average, print a different piece of paper every five to ten minutes. I have to go 20 feet through a rat maze to get my prints. It sounds very feeble and petty, but every time I get up there's a huge possibility of getting distracted when I'm being productive, and when I get distracted I don't stay productive. Then I sit at my desk looking at peopleofwalmart.com wondering if there was something else I should be doing.

All my student loans are due, and I can't pay them. I can't even get a second job - Whole Foods sent me a rejection letter. Dave said it's because my name isn't Rain and I don't smell of pachouli. Oh, and I had to pay a fee to forbear my Sallie Mae loans.

Don't even get me started on the search for like, a real job. People always tell me to try for jobs even when I'm woefully under-qualified. Problem is, employers ARE finding that "perfect" candidate. Even CareerBuilder and all those sites send me crap - NO, I don't want to be an AVON Lady, TYVM. I don't want a job in sales. I just...want to be useful, and I'm not where I currently am. I want to pay my bills and not fret about them anymore. I shouldn't have to re-evaluate my budget every time cable or natural gas increases.
